User Experience (UX)

As a Senior UX Designer, my approach is rooted in user-centric principles, always beginning with a deep understanding of the end-users’ needs and expectations. Over the years, I have honed my ability to translate research insights into intuitive and effective designs. From crafting user journey maps to developing wireframes and prototypes, my focus is on ensuring that each interaction is simple, direct, and engaging. My aim is always to create digital experiences that solve real problems and provide tangible value for both users and the business.

With a keen eye for detail and aesthetics, my work in UI Design is driven by a commitment to creating visual interfaces that are not only beautiful but also functional and accessible. I specialise in transforming wireframes into high-fidelity designs that reflect best practices in visual design and usability. Over the years, I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to develop robust design systems, ensuring visual consistency and a cohesive experience across all user touchpoints. I utilise tools such as Figma to ensure that every element of the interface aligns with the product goals and user expectations.

User Research

My experience in User Research has enabled me to lead both qualitative and quantitative studies that underpin every design decision. I conduct interviews, usability tests, and data analyses to gather insights that guide product development. My research provides a solid foundation for creating detailed personas, understanding user flows, and identifying critical pain points that need to be addressed in the design process. Across various projects, I have developed a rigorous method for collecting and interpreting data, always with the goal of enhancing the end-user experience and ensuring the final product meets their real needs.

Developing and managing design systems has been a crucial part of my role as a designer. In projects such as Sinfonia and Abundance Brasil, I collaborated on the creation of design systems that ensure consistency and scalability across large platforms. These systems include a library of reusable components that facilitate collaboration between designers and developers, as well as speed up the design process. I believe that a well-structured design system not only improves team efficiency but also ensures a cohesive user experience, regardless of the platform or device.

Design Documentation and Developer Collaboration

I understand the importance of clear documentation and close collaboration with developers for the success of a project. In all my initiatives, from creating workflows to delivering navigable prototypes, I maintain continuous communication with development teams. I use platforms such as Confluence and Jira to document processes, create style guides, and map user flows. This approach not only facilitates the accurate implementation of designs but also ensures that all team members are aligned with the project’s objectives.

Lastly, I was involved in the post-development phase, where I reviewed and checked the developed platform to ensure it aligned with our designs and met the required standards. This step was crucial in delivering a final product that was both functional and visually cohesive.
